NUAº

Immersive theater

NUAº aims to explore how silence, complicity, and inaction legitimize aggression and abuse of power.

In this case, it is addressed The aggression within the world of leaking intimate videos, the creation and distribution of AI-generated sexual images, revenge porn, sextortion, and shaming in the context of cyberbullying or online harassment. The play taps into the special complicity that develops between the actress and the audience from the outset, thus building a fiction between the two.

In this fiction, the audience's passivity, shared responsibility, and wondering where the limit is for starting to act will establish a parallel between theatrical convention and the way aggression is legitimized in the real world.

US

We are a creative team that sought to explore alternative theatrical languages during the production of NUAº. Our shared goal is to raise public awareness about digital violence, which has increased exponentially in recent years.

In this piece we work with the audience as a central and active element.
